can you give a little more info on what you're talking about? who's sending the flash messages, who's receiving them, what's their purpose, and how do you know about them?

i'm on a hunt for answers to this question whenever people start spouting off about God-given rights. I know you weren't claiming that for yourself. What texts have you heard others use to support this? I haven't heard any and was curious if you or anyone might know what verses they're claiming support their cause, much in the same way that slave owners used certain texts to support the idea that the bible endorsed slavery ("slaves, obey your masters" et al).

What verses are you thinking of to support the idea of owning guns as a "God given right?"

the better job they can do of figuring out the weak link in the chain, the sooner they can take corrective steps to prevent things like this. if that means prosecuting aggressively someone who looked the other way or didn't do their job correctly, then so be it.

honestly, i think your idea has merit. i like the idea of the electoral votes being split up in a state by county or district instead of the winner-take-all format we have now. of our 55 delegates, i don't know how many that works out to per district, but i think it would give a more accurate result of the will of the people for a presidential election. just make sure that the number of votes per district is done fairly, maybe 1 delegate for every 100,000 people in that district (or something similar) so that the votes in imperial county or the mount shasta district count as much as votes in san fran or LA districts.
