    i'd like to know why they found him not guilty. the article (and the link to another article) doesn't address it.

    if they were part of the weekend, then i'd take more days. i wouldn't want them to be work days. if i couldn't add more weekend days, more minutes would be fine. i'd probably use them to sleep since i usually don't get enough.

    i THINK i know who mancuso is. older guy that's on during the morning? he talks loud and quick but doesn't say very much worth hearing. i'm glad i don't have to watch him. saw him once and that was more than enough. he was like the tv version of talk radio. i'd rather watch joe blanton's angels highlights.

    i wouldn't even entertain the idea of trading for him (machado) unless he agreed to sign an extension with me. but this guy is a gigantic doosh so i probably wouldn't trade for him or sign him next winter in the first place.

    imagine your november ballot with all 17 repubs on it from last year, plus the usual assortment of people you've never heard of. your ballot would be six pages long and no one would win enough electoral votes to win the election. and no, ditching the EC is not the answer, either.

    the "Ass birth" story happened on the old espn angels board. there was some real oddball guy that would show up out of nowhere trying to prove that Jesus wasn't born in the traditional way. he would post his bizarre story and then move on, then show back up and repeat the same story a few months/weeks later. It's an old joke for those of us who've been around here a while, and some of the newer posters may not know the backstory on this 'pun.'

    exactly. why didn't his partner go over and cuff them while they were prone? i support the police strongly, but this kind of failure just shouldn't happen.

    fwiw, the whole wheat pasta at spaghetti factory is terrific. have had it several times without issue.

    i would think he's extremely well familiar with Sitting Bull, since it's both a proper noun and and a great descriptor of his public persona.

    the winds definitely have died down. i think maybe they're just letting it burn in some areas because the area is difficult to access and there aren't any structures being threatened. also helps to clear out some of the old growth that just serves as fuel. but i could be wrong.

    surprisingly, no. a buddy of mine from college posted it, and i discovered that a stunningly high number of his friends have positively no sense of humor or whimsy.
