    i wanted to like Dunkirk a lot more, but it felt like the movie started in the middle of the story and ended in the middle of the story. i didn't care for the way they handled it, and knowing that a lot of kids were going to see it because of one of the stars, it needed more explanation at the beginning and at the end.

    i think you've nailed it. i love watching him play, but i haven't stopped everything just to watch him hit like i did with vladdy, or watch every pitch of a nolan ryan start. but man, i'm sure glad he's on our team.

    that's been such a surprising thing to me, as well. with all of the wikileaks things that have been revealed, many many congressional people were OUTRAGED at who released the documents, but not about the content of what was in those documents. And not a single one of them said anything like "crap, we got caught redhanded and what we're doing is morally reprehensible."
