    others may feel differently, but i think it's been to their detriment to let kids come out of school so early to join the NBA. i stopped watching games years ago and don't care about the game anymore.

    word on local sports is that deandre jordan may now be available. have to wonder where this ship is heading. sorry to see BG go. he was fun to watch.

    i've been itching to get a dog. need to get a gate fixed by our landlord and then we'll start seeing what's available at a rescue shelter.

    we're over a year out from the election and she's still getting ink. this worries me that dems won't have a better candidate for 2020. about the worst thing for the country would be trump-clinton II, the sequel.

    as far as delivery goes, i thought donnie did a pretty decent job.

    my last paycheck went up $50 so as a teacher, i quadrupled my pay.

    my dad and mom are both still living, though my dad's in pretty rough shape right now. leaving my mom as she slowly fades away would be the toughest part of moving away. a friend from high school just told me about a teaching job in central washington, and i'm interested in relocating, but the family issues are pretty big for us right now.

    this whole comfort pet idea has really gotten out of hand.

    like any newcomer, he'll either start out hot and cool off as the league figures him out, or start off cold and warm up as he figures out the pitchers. i hate to be capt. obvious, but there really doesn't seem to be a middle ground in these cases.

    what are the penalties for going over the threshold? one of my co-workers is a dodger fan and said they're looking at being nailed for over $100 mil in fines if they go over. i don't want to argue with her, but i know her numbers are way off.

    found out the hard way this group eschews anything healthy. my kale-kiwi-carrot-arugula-wheat germ protein shakes for everyone didn't fare well, either.
