    what i don't like about the painting is that it doesn't fit in with all the other presidential portraits in style. the others are shown in a very stately manor, and here's obama sitting on a chair surrounded by flowers and no apparent horizon line. it looks cheesey instead of dignified like all the others.

    he's typical of what all sports talk shows have become - loud, aggressive, and opinionated. it gets reactions from fans, and that drives ratings. i can't stand any of them anymore, and that comes after being a pretty devoted hacksaw hamilton listener for probably ten years. right now, they all suck

    man, it's gonna be a headache for me to have lunch with this guy without a bazillion reporters hanging around wanting to know if he doubles dips his tortilla chips or prefers salsa to guacamole.

    one of my favorite soups. we found a recipe for panera's recipe and while it was a bit labor intensive, it was really good.

    that was some brutally ugly hair. he didn't always make me laugh but he was a funny guy. i liked his deadpan approach to humor.

    did you like chinatown? it's one of those i want to see but still haven't. LA confidential was a GREAT movie. should have won best picture that year, but, you know, titanic and all that.

    it seems to me that if you want to sail around the world maybe it's a good idea to be able to sail to somewhere close first, like catalina. i don't think i'd buy a new pair of running shoes and decide to enter the boston marathon for my first attempt at jogging.

    that's pretty awesome, TORS. it won't happen with my neighbors because i live next to an armenian who's in his 60s and can't even keep his lawn mowed let alone be an elite athlete in anything.

    one hit wonder, eh? okay A-bob. we'll go ahead and ignore the most successful run in team history under his tenure and just focus on how lucky we were in 2002, and that will simply define everything about the man.
