    looks like eldrick had a really good day. heads into sunday in second place and poised to make his first tiger charge in quite a while. should be fun to watch.

    on march 10, i don't think anyone has played their way on to the roster yet, and anyone sent down already wasn't going to make the big league roster anyway. we'll know better in ten more days about roster spots 20-25.

    he also threw no-hitters for the both the dodgers and red sox. can only think of ryan and bunning as the other pitchers to have thrown no-nos in both leagues.

    i can only remember the soviets and north koreans having these military parades showing off their troops and their weapons (maybe the cubans, too). any other countries that you can remember doing these in the last 50-60 years? honestly, right now i don't really care one way or the other about this parade.

    Seahawks trade away Bennett and release Richard Sherman. Not sure I u derstand releasing Sherman. Rams picked up Aqib Talib from Denver.

    Ther are a lot of adjustments for him right now, plus the team may have him working on specific things they haven't made known to the public. There's also the fact that the halos are discovering a ton about him that never shows up on paper. i don't know what's best for Ohtani or best for the Angels at this point but I trust the process they're going to use to decide.

    Yeah, ya know, it's also a shame that players producing is never a factor in the outcome of the game. The game is only affected by managerial decions. btw, do you think there'll be a hangover for the Cubs this season after winning a second consecutive WS?
