what i liked most about that uniform was it was clean. the road uni's mostly eliminated the red, and it worked very well. the piping on the jerseys was a real nice touch and added a classy feel to it. the only thing i'd change about it is adding the halo around the entire top of the hat and batting helmet. that was as unique as anything any team has had in this game, and it looked, well, angelic.

agree with you. change the gray on this uniform to navy blue and eliminate the red on red and it's immediately better.

i haven't always liked him as a person but i respect his game. glad to have him here and think he'll do well, especially with trout hitting right behind him.

we had a dry cleaners here in town that called and promoted themselves as the "dollar cleaners." had them clean a necktie and it cost 1.50. when i pointed out that they're the DOLLAR cleaners, the owner just shrugged and said "eh, that's more of a guideline than a rule."

i see the red sox making a big play for harper next season. he'd destroy that distance down the right field line.

should we feel differently about our talent level vs. the other teams mentioned? so many questions persist about our pitching staff. you don't realistically think the angels are equal to boston, ny, and houston right now, do you? the goal is to get in to the playoffs. i don't care how that happens or how many games they have to play, just get in.

my brother and i both realized something off today - neither one of us can name a single college basketball player today. i guess that qualifies me as a less than good fan. that being said, GO BUCKEYES!!!!
