    i would prefer to have ohtani bat 5th as i think there's slightly less pressure/importance there in the order. however, i'm not bothered at all by him hitting anywhere in the lineup, be it 4th or 8th. wherever he fits to make it our best possible lineup that day is fine with me.

    you have no idea how crappy armenians can drive. they drive fast and recklessly, and laws are often just suggestions to them. i hate how they drive here. absolutely hate it.

    voted for the entire pitching staff. skaggs was brilliant tonight, anderson was overwhelming, and middleton nutted up at just the right time.

    we didn't have school today, a mid-semester break. last friday one of the kids said to me "hey Mr. V., see you next tuesday!" and for just a moment i wondered what he really meant . . .

    anderson wasn't invited to big league camp according to mota. kid moved from AA to AA to the bigs in less than a month. yikes.

    they also showed someone giving him a ball and a bag filled with 3 or 4 other balls. patrick o'neal interviewing him now. kid had 50 tickets for tonight!

    they just showed anderson meeting his friends and family after the game. that was awesome. if he thought that was exciting, just wait till he finally gets to meet alex curry in person.

    upton with a clutch hit, kole with a big hit, anderson keeps his nerves calm enough in his debut, and middleton doesn't blow it in his third game in a row. this was a huge win.
