    anyone here have any actual experience with someone with TJ surgery and whether or not they could swing a bat effectively within a few months as some here have suggested? my brother had shoulder surgery last june and wasn't able to resume playing hockey until january, and even then it was non-contact. i have serious doubts about shutting him down as a pitcher with surgery but then thinking he can go ahead and hit effectively inspite of it.

    we only get president's day as well, so i'm not sure why both bdays were mentioned by whoever was speaking about it. we have admission day in september, but only the banks and post office seem to celebrate it.

    anyone else have trouble accessing our league this weekend? i couldn't find any of you and kept getting a "no active games" message. idiots. i really, really, really don't like the golf channel version of this. i wish they would increase our spending limit for the majors.

    wait, so he wouldn't have gotten hurt if the angels only had a 5 man rotation? and i'm sure you don't need to hear this, but he was diagnosed with a sprain in his elbow over the winter, so it's pretty likely this wasn't a brand new fresh injury, or that being part of a 6 man rotation had any bearing on this.

    chris young, adios. thanks for the memories. time for flash to get a decent look. i'd also keep JMF at first for the foreseeable future. between valbuena and marte, i'd play marte a whole lot more right now. but realistically, i think both of them are rather easily replaceable pieces.
