    my wife reminded me that when she was our school secretary, she cleaned up selling pencils. kids couldn't buy them fast enough. will probably do something like that that's cheap and always available, plus a few other things. i appreciate everyone's contributions. i'm making a list and will include several ideas from here and my facebook page.

    isn't attendance often lower at the beginning of the season? kids in school and such... seems like it usually picks up once school is out for summer, plus the pennant races start to materialize more clearly.

    You've very impressively carried the torch for this for 18 months. Have you always/frequently felt this way or is it just because your girl lost?

    We have a faculty bathroom in the teachers lounge. There are a few teachers that always knock on the door instead of checking the knob to see if it's locked. If I'm I need there, I never really know what to say when they knock, nor am I really wanting a conversation at that particular moment.
