not saying i agree or disagree with fletch. i'd like to see canning get called up in september and make a start or two if he's up for it and it won't hurt him. i'm hopeful he'll be here full time opening day next year.

my wife reminded me that when she was our school secretary, she cleaned up selling pencils. kids couldn't buy them fast enough. will probably do something like that that's cheap and always available, plus a few other things.

isn't attendance often lower at the beginning of the season? kids in school and such... seems like it usually picks up once school is out for summer, plus the pennant races start to materialize more clearly.
We have a faculty bathroom in the teachers lounge. There are a few teachers that always knock on the door instead of checking the knob to see if it's locked. If I'm I need there, I never really know what to say when they knock, nor am I really wanting a conversation at that particular moment.
