the forgiving side of me says if he paid his debt to society than he deserves a chance. i think if a team is interested in signing him, they can gauge fan reaction by how he's treated in the minors by fans and teammates. would give you an idea of what he would face in the majors. i wonder how he's been treated at OSU? they've certainly had to deal with this in ways you and i don't know. i'm not advocating one way or the other with him. i'm not really sure what i'd do, TBH.

i chose the article because it was the first one that came up in my google search. there were no other reasons or motivations for my selection of it. i'm sorry you can't tell the difference between caricatures and parody vs. how Time tried to use a photo to sway opinion as if it was accurate for what's going on.

i think it comes down to who the media focuses on. they seek out the louder voices and present them as representative of a much larger group.

agreed. maybe it just seems that the loud voices are just that much louder these days, but people are definitely more aggressive, too.
