    does the MLB make any kind of donations to any of the cancer charities or for cancer research? if they do, great. if not, then all of this seems like a poor attempt to make them look supportive.

    california adventure offers a bbq jackfruit sandwich that is mostly okay. it isn't quite sweet enough and you have to add extra bbq sauce to make it better. the biggest problem with the sandwich is that the bread they use just falls apart pretty quickly. i'm glad they offer it, but it's not a 'must have' for me.

    albert's done a good job of making the most of his opportunities to knock in trout. i have no problem with that.

    i thought the live interviews during this game were a terrific idea. hope they'll do them again next year.

    i think there are any number of threads here about the lack of offense and the problems with the pitching. take your choice. unless something insane happens, they're not going to the playoffs this year.
