there was a lengthy discussion here about this. valbuena can play first and third. cron could only play first. that was probably the main reason why they made the moves they did. also, they could have gotten more for cron than valbuena. didn't we get rengifo in the cron deal? no such talent would have come for luis and his juice.

i think you're misapplying this in this case. owning a gun vs. carrying one openly in public. he wasn't denied the right to own, just the right to carry in public.

agreed 100%. look at how many people have been fired over stuff that happened 10+ years ago, including the director of guardians of the galaxy. not to mention all the grief being heaped on the brewers closer for stuff he tweeted when he was 17. then you add in things like the waiter faking the "no tip because you're a terrorist" hoax, and it just adds to the changing narrative in this country. there's a certain group that thrives on being offended and then trying to make things 'right.' and it's a growing movement.

There's no good reason to have fletcher platoon with valbuena. This team isnt going anywhere so let the kid play. Valbuena has zero value, to us or anyone else, so talking about increasing his trade value is silly - he has none.
