    there are clearly times when things move quicker, but knowing when those times are is a total crapshoot. in glendale, our ER at Adventist Health is consistently full and the wait times extended. We've learned that it's quicker to go to Verdugo Hills USC if you want to be seen sooner (but it's still not quick).

    man, so much speculation about him and his intentions. the reality is that none of us know what's in his heart. pretty pointless to try and figure it out based on nothing. hey @Jeff Fletcher, have you asked albert about how much longer he intends to play? is that even a question that can be brought up without sounding offensive? has albert talked about his future plans for playing?

    they don't play boston until august. don't like that or how september has been scheduled. glad to see they're playing the reds next year. weird that they're playing them both here and in cincy. would love to go see the halos in the queen city.

    haven't heard anything yet but thought there was supposed to be a board of regents meeting today at OSU re; meyers. anyone hear anything yet? or am i on the wrong day?

    until you look at how much money california is spending on services for illegal immigrants. our state tax burden could be reduced if we improved how we handle illegal immigrants. it has been suggested here before (and earlier on this page) about a day worker program. it's worth exploring.

    nor was obama, or dubya, or clinton, or . . . no one single person is to blame for this. it's a problem that has existed for far too long and keeps getting ignored.

    it seems to me that after 9/11, our border security would be a much higher priority. look at the security changes we've all had to endure to fly on a plane since 2001. those are good/necessary changes, but i think tightening our border entry system absolutely needs more attention.

    agreed. the problem is that none of us want to pay $6 for a tomato or $9 for a head of lettuce, so we're willing to endure with certain things because it keeps more of our money in our pockets.

    hey @Chuckster70, on my work computer (POS Dell laptop) i'venoticed that when i open up AW, on the home page (not the page with all the forums listed), there is no longer a button to click that leads me to the fan forum section. This is different from last June. Are you aware of this and can you fix it? As it's currently configured, it doesn't appear to a newcomer that a fan forum exists.
