    150 mph winds expected on thursday and storm will make landfall on friday. they're evacuating everyone but as always, there are people who refuse to leave and will just ride it out. smh.

    i disagree that this is an ego thing. he's a player who can still play, even though it's not at the same high level as previous years. he was still better than a lot of players on the current roster, too. if he was insisting on batting 4th (no evidence of that) or demanding this or that, then the ego thing comes in to play. but so far, i haven't heard anything like that.

    was a little concerned with how oakland opened up the game. but the defense responded well the rest of the night, only giving up six more points and none in the second half. that was terrific. i like goff and gurley. good combo together. i'm also glad to see austin isn't here any more. guy was a lot of talk but didn't produce enough.
