    during the clarence thomas hearings, there was a joke that went like this: have you heard about the anita hill doll? you wind it up, and ten years later it talks. this is worse because it's over 35 years ago. I don't want to diminish what happened to this girl - it was horrible for her and should have been dealt with at the time. to drag this out now smacks of desperation politics.

    i've missed parts of the game. have the rams gone for a two-point conversion after each TD? and is there any reason why? maybe this is a good day to practice this particular skill. also wondering why they had 4th and 1 just now and decide to go for it instead of kicking a short FG. maybe the same reason? trying to run the score up against the cards?

    i have no idea where to look so i'll ask here. anyone have any info on how the new home run line in right field affected the total number of homers this year? was it more, less, or no appreciable difference for this season? would be interesting to see a breakdown for comparison. @Jeff Fletcher has there been any discussion of this by the team?

    Bolts off to a good start in buffalo today. Gordon with a 20 yard run for a TD has put them up 14-0 in the first.

    It's a results oriented game, and his are pretty bad with the lumber. To their credit the halos have given him every opportunity to prove himself, but it's just not in the cards for him. Not sure where he goes from here, but I think his career is over.

    With my wdaughter eight loss surgery, stalls are common and I've endured several over the last two years. But one of the things I've learned I see that even the scale may not be moving, my body is still making changes. Don't be too discouraged about the number. The fact that clothes that were too small are now too big should give you a boost that what you're doing is working. Keep at it, Phil.
