  1. it'd be nice to see some cameron crazies kind of action from the crowd for that one.
  2. reeds wife took to twitter to bitch about the team then denied it (or at least wouldn't admit anything). nothing ever seems to be their responsibility. they're both a couple of clowns. the more i hear from the reeds, the less i want to hear from the reeds.
  3. i asked because there hasn't been any announcement made on whether or not they're being kept, and we don't know if/how sosh's decision affects them.
  4. it's irrelevant because it's based on allegations from 36 years ago, not on his current behavior. all of this dr. ford stuff is completely irrelevant.
  5. @Jeff Fletcher let's make this happen. Not kidding, either.
  6. any ideas of whether or not the coaching staff will be retained? or is that completely up to the new manager?
  7. forecast revised - doesn't look like any rain for tuesday in LA.
  8. just say the word, buddy, and it'll be chillin' like GA pulling into second on a double.
  9. #4 ohio state 4-0 ucla 0-4 choose wisely, my friend.
  10. nope. tuna smells awful. don't know how any of you can eat it.
  11. good italian place in eagle rock called casa bianca. their pizza is terrific. don't know about their entrees. the garlic bread is also very good. they are a cash only establishment and there's an atm inside the restaurant. another hidden gem in eagle rock is senor fish. great mexican food. small place that's popular so might want to avoid busy times. darn good food. there's all kinds of stuff up and down colorado blvd, which is home to the rose parade in pasadena. the getty museum is always worth a visit. the museum is free but you need a reservation for parking. they have a website but i'm too lazy to look it up for you. there's also the norton simon museum in pasadena on colorado blvd. Lots of interesting exhibits to see. come to glendale only if you want to see lots and armenians and bicyclists who ignore every known traffic law on the books. the drivers here are morons, too.
  12. so they can get a captive audience for tv ratings. there's no NFL, NBA, or NHL to compete with the next couple of days although i imagine every filipino in glendale will be tuned in to the next lakers game like it's game 7 against the celtics.
  13. that reminds me, i think i have some leftover lasagna in the fridge. BRB.
  14. “He’s definitely been an influential person in my career,” Skaggs said earlier this week. “We’ve had our ups and downs and butted heads. But he’s definitely been my biggest advocate at times.” Skaggs admitted to “mixed emotions” regarding Scioscia, but he felt overall positive about his time with him. “I think he’s been a big supporter and at times he’s been tough,” Skaggs said. “He’s tough on young guys. But I have a lot of respect for him.”
  15. your second paragraph directly contradicts your first one. unless you were there, you have no idea, neither do i or anyone else here (well, maybe fletcher saw some things). just because a manager doesn't show a lot of emotion on the field doesn't mean emotion is lacking. he could have come out on the field yelling and screaming like a madman. would that have helped any?
  16. haven't heard it announced officially that he's retiring but joe mauer caught for the last time yesterday. came in for one pitch and then was pulled. adam jones basically said farewell to everyone in baltimore when he was pulled from the game. adrian beltre may have played his final game yesterday, too.
