    my daughter voted last night for the first time in her life. she's doing it by absentee ballot. easy as can be. don't know why this isn't encouraged more and more often throughout the country.

    so was there a winner last night? thought i heard that somewhere in south carolina there was a claim that a winning ticket had been sold. there were four tickets in california with 5 of the numbers.

    burbank is always easier to get in and out (INO!) of but it gives a bit of a longer drive to anaheim. it's not significantly longer to get there on a sunday. she should be fine, and i'd recommend she go there. bonus points for flying jet blue - their customer service is terrific.
