    several years ago some a-hole got my name and added it to a mailing list that got sold all around. i know this because he added a middle initial to my name that isn't mine. i'm still getting mail with this idiotic initial on it. i have no idea how to get my name off this list.

    @Inside Pitch and i know a guy from the old AOL days who a lot of research on what he called pitcher abuse. he cited a lot of the things you've mentioned. coaches want to win while also showcasing these kids, and it leads them to let those kids pitch ridiculous amounts of innings and pitches. lots of kids have been ruined by this abuse. IP can talk a lot more intelligently about it than i can. it's a fascinating and alarming topic.

    my cousin served in vietnam with the marines during the war. still an open wound to him and his buddies when jane's name comes up. he still posts memes about her being a traitor. i'm not sure this can heal for him and many others who were in the thick of it at the time.
