    My biggest gripe with Dipoto was that he quit in the middle of the season. He should have manned up and finished the year and then left. As it was, he put the Angels in a really bad position by just up and leaving. As I said in my previous post, Dipoto's job as a GM was a mixed bag, but I really don't like quitters.

    I think Dipoto's job as GM was a mixed bag. He made some good moves and he made some bad ones. The notion that he ruined the Angels is nonsense. There were problems long before Dipoto came here.

    @OregonLAA I don't know how Eppler is going to work out but it's waaaay to soon to be replacing the GM..in fact the notion is nonsense.

    I didn't get his acquisition in the beginning and I still don't get it. Maybe he'll turn into a good major leaguer, but it's seems his cost didn't fit his abilities.
