  1. Our TV team would be a world better if Langston did the color.
  2. I'm not a Victor fan but he isn't any more of a homer than any other teams announcer.
  3. I normally listen to the radio broadcast with Terry Smith and Mark Langston. The delay can be a little annoying but I really don't like our TV team.
  4. The key here is if some of these guys can get back in time and are effective. That's a lot of if's but the Angels could be looking pretty good if they aren't buried by the time they are at or near full strength. As far as Lincecum goes I'm a little skeptical due to not that many teams being interested in him. If he looked that good I'd think there would have been interest from more teams. Hope he works out because it would be great for the Angels playoff chances if he can perform.
  5. Thank God Arte sent this guy packing, sure it cost a small fortune but it was the right move.
  6. He should be fine. Now if he was dehydrated I might not expect him back until early 2018.
  7. Somehow Weaver talked him out of it..Scioscia usually has his mind made up when he goes out there. btw..the water bottle look was gold! lol
  8. The stench from last night hasn't completely evaporated. lol
  9. Does anyone find it interesting that we got two great starts against the O's by two of the pitchers that many want out of the rotation?
  10. Well done Weaver! Second straight game Weaver goes 7 innings.
  11. After last night I don't know if I'm up for another game this soon, I can't shake the memory..maybe by 12:35. Go Halos! Go Jered. Take the lead of Shoemaker and dazzle the O's.
  12. Sometimes you have to win those 1-0 games and that requires your closer to finish the game off and Smith wasn't able to do it. The offense just wasn't able to get the big hit last night that would have put Balt away and the biggest fail in that department was Albert stranding 7 runners. He came to the plate time after time with an opportunity to put the game out of reach. As has already been posted Shoemaker wasn't going to pitch the ninth because he was at 95 pitches with one out in the eighth. He pitched a great game but he's struggled a lot the last couple of years and there wasn't any need to push him given that.
  13. You assume that Shoemaker could have finished the game and then you assumed that Scioscia should have assumed it also. lol
