    Not for this year, but it matters next season because if the Angels trade Escobar and Cowart fails at 3b then they just gave up their lead-off hitter and won't have a third baseman on top of it!

    If the Angels are really going to shop Escobar then they need to give Cowart a shot but then who is going to bat lead-off?

    It's a vicious circle..the pitching staff puts the Angels in a position of having to play from behind all the time which puts pressure on the offense. With the offense sputtering it puts pressure on the pitching staff because they know they aren't going to be getting many runs. And it it goes round and round.

    What ever it is that fuels Hector's success it's obvious that he can't seem to corral it. He's had plenty of opportunity to turn things around but it looks to me like he needs a change of scenery.

    It's a bummer because Hector seems like a really good guy but he has to go.

    I would say the pitching is killing us due to a devastating amount of injuries to our starting staff that no team could survive thats put a tremendous amount of pressure on the offense which has caved.

    Man, this is hard to take every time Hector pitches. Maybe we could trade Hector for a bag of balls to bolster our minor league supply.
