  1. WOW -- man are you taking me back. That Nap McCallum knee injury.... Talk about a cringe inducing memory...
  2. Not until after he goes down to the clubhouse to talk to the players....
  3. Kyle Sherwood‏ @BigWoodWSU 43m43 minutes ago More Some dude ran down to the front row trying to star the wave and got pelted with a hot dog.
  4. "It was a shrewd managerial decision to revitalize his team's offense and drive up the team's confidence the rest of the series" -- TD
  5. He's calling out the trains that you hear in Safeco.... a joke....
  6. LOL.. Chipper Jones.... Chipper Jones‏Verified account @RealCJ10 15h15 hours ago More Chipper Jones Retweeted Baseball Quotes Who isn't??? 7. People bitched about the return the Angels got for Hernandez but did you see the guy the Mets got? Ryder Ryan... 22 years old, in Low A.. RP with an ERA near 5.00.... Bruce was having an above average year by his standards...
  8. I'd much rather chase him than Moustakas...
  9. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, that they know what they are doing.. But, FWIW.. I hate seeing a team take a guy and then try to completely remake him. He definitely looks stiff - like he's trying to do things .vs them coming to him naturally.
  10. Erasmo Ramirez has pretty much had the Angels number.. Doesn't matter how bad he is .vs the rest of MLB, the Angels have always had trouble with him. Same goes for Ariel Miranda -- pretty sure he's 4-0 .vs them for his career. Small samples obviously, but they have both better better against the Angels than their overall numbers.
  11. Different animals... You never know how a player will take to coaching, but Nonie was billed as extremely raw -- so, this is kind of expected. The guy is a lottery pick type. Right now Nonie is moving at the same pace Ryan Vega did.. At worst he's 20 years old and in Orem next season.
  12. Agreed -- Nonie in human Play-doh right now.... The Angels are trying to shape him into what they want him to be.
  13. He's been awful in April every year. That guy should start hitting full time in January so he's ready to go when the season starts...
  14. This is where I am with the situation. I can see him telling himself it's a lost season and that he was finally due.... I can't see him being okay with next year being a repeat of this one..
  15. What a tremendous amount of love, respect, and admiration yesterday from people all around MLB. Writers, sportscasters, former players, both teammates and people he coached .... It seemed like everyone he touched felt the depth of what was lost.... I expected it from Angels fans given he was one of the guys that lead the team out of the second second division wasteland it had languished in for most of its existence but wow.... Baseball was hurting yesterday.. Interesting that the most commonly referred to aspect of Baylor's personality was his kindness.... Speaks volumes about the sort of man he was.
  16. Yeah, first time was in 82.... But I was 12 and a huge Reggie fanboy... So, when Preston took us down to meet the players I went right to Reggie.. LOL...
  17. It's not all insured.... Insurance only covers 8 mil per year. They were also paying those insurance premiums the years he wasn't hurt.
  18. I'll bite.. I'm not okay with either incident but neither do I care. Morons gonna moron... Sometimes you gotta consider the source and just roll your eyes.
