  1. and people get mad when i said we have become a nation of sheep
  2. Some good points. Lowering the spread is a good thing but the focus needs to be keeping the the right people home. If the old and are going to wal mart or gatherings it isnt doing us a lot of good cancelling little league. my son's games are cancelled so i am going to sams club and anywhere else i see fit. I dont plan on visiting the old man anytime soon. stopping the spread is great but the most important thing is stopping the contact with old people. i think this that gets lost as these athletic governing bodies compete public adoration.
  3. was glad i only ordered coffee. that stuff could be contagious
  4. i used to drink a little mcdonals. the local mcdonalds had a boy cashier with painted nails and make up so i aint been back.
  5. i believe you secretly want his orange oompa loompa
  6. Very good thought. This is what I was trying to convey to the sheep. We can warn and protect the old with shutting down life. Right now its games being cancelled but store closings and local travel restrictions could be next.
  7. good breakdown. I think we do need to stress avoiding contact with the older folks. Even if we feel healthy, probably best to visit less or not at all. Charitable groups and government efforts should be more focused on providing them services with reduced exposure. I think we can do this and still allow some events to continue with or without fans.
  8. thats no easy task. the caps button is tougher than me
  9. I'm in Missouri. I can get a high five here quicker than you can get a good game in SOCAL.
  10. I apologize for over estimating your analytical ability and reading comprehension skills. I was referring to major media source such as CNN,CBS, ABC,MSNBC,NBC,UNIVISION,TELEMUNDO We have Fox that can be pro trump but you arent getting a lot of pro trump from the other carriers. Same rings true with the printed media.
  11. business insider certainly is a america's news leader
  12. this thread going to be interesting in 6-8 weeks. we will be mourning a lot of deaths or trying to explain how america survived in spite of trump.
  13. there is a lot of truth in that and it isnt a good thing. our media has been so one sided it is tough to believe them in times of potential crisis. no doubt trump has told a few lies in his day. unfortunately the media hasnt done any better telling the truth.
  14. the 9th circuit has been unusually quite on the latest travel bans.
  15. kind of what i was warning our cancel culture in here about. we have to be cautious but government never misses a chance to grab freedoms from those willing to hand them over. we need a more balanced reaction and understand we are establishing precedent. our reactions are being noted by our own big government and enemies developing biological weapons.
  16. Blarg, 24 hours ago you were fighting the fight and now you want me to die. You sir are a hypocrite and not invited to my dinner with trump.
  17. Noble cause and a short term suspension of activities is understandable. Some of the sports cancelled the season. I believe we can reasonably avoid grandpa and the high risk. Hopefully, they will be cautious as well. I just don't see stopping 18-22 year olds from playing basketball in a mostly empty gym is helping the cause. Pretty sure those kids are going to continue playing on their own in a less controlled gymnasium. Contact is going to occur. We need to avoid the high risk and they need to avoid us until this thing clears up a little. That doesnt mean low risk individuals need to stop competing in all activities. Maybe we don't need fans right now. I am of the mindset this is a free country. If you are high risk and want to attend a game, go do it. I wouldnt advise it. Low risk people need to treat themselves as if they have it and avoid contact with high risks friends and family. What is happening is the government and institutions are saying people are too dumb and cant be trusted with their own health so lets manage their lives for them. I don't know where you fall on the border wall but we have a large group of anti wallers in here all of a sudden begging for isolation.
  18. Patients who reported no pre-existing ("comorbid") medical conditions had a case fatality rate of 0.9%. Pre-existing illnesses that put patients at higher risk of dying from a COVID-19 infection are: COVID-19 Fatality Rate by COMORBIDITY: *Death Rate = (number of deaths / number of cases) = probability of dying if infected by the virus (%). This probability differs depending on pre-existing condition. The percentage shown below does NOT represent in any way the share of deaths by pre-existing condition. Rather, it represents, for a patient with a given pre-existing condition, the risk of dying if infected by COVID-19. PRE-EXISTING CONDITION DEATH RATE confirmed cases DEATH RATE all cases Cardiovascular disease 13.2% 10.5% Diabetes 9.2% 7.3% Chronic respiratory disease 8.0% 6.3% Hypertension 8.4% 6.0% Cancer 7.6% 5.6% no pre-existing conditions 0.9%
  19. i believe the wife overlooks my shortcomings because i dont beat her. Her dad slapped her mom around and all her sisters in mexico get their ass whipped
  20. lol i have to be careful in here. i dont when to take people serious and they probably dont know when i am serious. nobody want to admit it but i think everyone is a little pissed over sports being gone. i can see a lot of pregnancies or domestic assaults over the next few weeks
  21. i am glad to see the virus unifying the people
  22. you are definitely not invited to my dinner with trump
  23. someone came up positive in Missouri who just got back from Australia
