Four years is a long time.  He is one of the best, crap he is playing better than Reed or Speith right now.  Ironically it looks like Furyk will be the U.S.' hottest golfer heading into it.

choke or no choke, I want the hot player on the team.  If I remember correctly, Mahan had to hole the shot on 17 to extend the match and then still win on 18.  Sure it was a choke but even if he chipped in (which was highly unlikely), the odds were not in his favor.  Mahan was nails in 2008.   

 

I think Keegan is the only lock right now as a captain's pick. My guess would be that the other picks will be from the group of Simpson, Moore, Sneds, Todd and Mahan.

 

I am going with Keegan, Sneds, and Mahan.....but that could change in three days.

Mahan is making his way into the ryder cup team. Right now you have to like Mahan and keegan. Moore, Simpson, and snedeker missed the cut. Todd played great until Sunday which probably doesn't look too good.

That third pick will be tough... One more week.

webb simpson is frustrating. so much talent, yet his production has been extremely mediocre since winning the u.s. open. he's also a lousy fantasy pick.

 

i think bradley needs to have an excellent week next week, like top 5, if he wants to make the ryder cup team.

I think Bradley is a shoe in.  Mahan is almost sure to be picked too.

 

Webb never really recaptured his success of his US Open year.  Too inconsistent, especially on the greens which was his strength.
