He's a good dude, friend of the families because he is from the same country club. Actually, he's super cool but I get watching slow golfers...I think I change the channel any time they are going to Furyk or Keegan to address their balls.

I've tried to get into World Cup, I really have. I was spending a couple months in Mexico when it was going on, and that whole country shuts down for the event...so I figured I would join in and try again...

It still didn't "take".

I gave up after that.

Furyk at -2 through 6 holes.

 

I am torn with a guy like Furyk.  Completely homemade swing. Works really hard.  One of the really good guys on tour.  I would normally cheer for a guy like this every day of the week.  

 

But on the flip side, the Ryder Cup might just be my favorite event in all of sports and that guy is an enigma to me for three days every two years.  

 

I just might need to accept the fact that he will make the team....again.  I just need to hope that the homemade swing can finally hold up under the huge pressure of the Ryder Cup and that he will not back off a putt on the 18th green about 30 times.
