Granted, I have thought he would be great ever since his 2nd or 3rd place Masters finish years ago.

It felt like a long heads up poker match where you thought one would have to give up mentally for it to end.

 

Reminds me of Kaymer or Westwood when they were #1 for a long time without winning many events.

The US Open is as good as it gets when the course is playing fair, which isn't often enough. 

 

then you're probably not going to like this years tournament. they're at pine hills in north carolina and i think most or maybe all of the greens are crowned.

i went to carlsbad once when they had the opening tournament of champions event there, before it moved to hawaii.

 

i invited tiger woods to dinner after his round. he wouldn't even look up at me and acknowledge me. jerk.
