Life Threatening Cold

I don't know how you guys do it.  Made windchill of 4 here today and that is the end of civilization for me. I can't imagine those temps and mounds of snow and ice blocks everywhere to boot.

Crazy.  Not all kids are picked up by the bus out in front of the house.  Some have to wait at the corner for 10-15 minutes.  They determined that it is not safe for the kids to be out waiting for the bus that long in this cold.  There have been a couple days where it had just snowed or we were in the midst of 6+ inches of snow and they didn't cancel school.

At 7 AM this morning local time in Philadelphia, it was 62 degrees. It's 38 now and tonight's low is expected to be 5 degrees.

 

Tomorrow's forecast, a high of 15.

The temp creeped up to -15 here.  Sun has been out most of the day at least.

At that point i'm guessing there's no real appreciable difference between the two temps.
