What Angels player did you mimic as a kid?

In the backyard, my brothers and I used to make a ball out of scrunched up newspaper and duct/masking tape.  Could get some pretty good movement and break since it wasn't precisely round.  We'd pitch and catch against a brick wall and I'd use a complete lineup when I played.  Late 70's/early 80's Angel lineup, same era Dodgers, Brewers, whoever I could think of.

In little league, I started out using a Bobby Grich stance but long-term instituted a Robin Yount stance that ultimately morphed into a Jeff Bagwell/Jose Canseco stance.  When I attempted to bat lefty, it was something along the lines of Freddie Lynn, then George Brett, then Donnie baseball.

Great memories!

Darin Erstad and Tim Salmon for hitting/fielding. And then Nolan Ryan when i tried very unsuccessfully to pitch.

Edit: I remember after reading a book about Nolan Ryan, I was in my room and got really pumped about pitching. It was raining outside so i stood in the corner of my room, piled up pillows in the opposite corner on my bed and pitched at them. Needless to say, I eventually missed and busted a hole in my wall haha
