Get out in two years.

“Dr. Murray has an unquenchable desire to help people, and no matter where it is, he will return to his given profession of healing,” his Texas lawyer Charles Peckham told The News last week.

I am sure there are openings in the Obamacare Death Panels that he would be uniquely qualified for.

I didn't blame Murray from the get-go.  MJ was a disturbed human.  With the amount of money he had, he could have the best docs on the planet.  He effectively took his own life, not too much differently than Whitney Houston.

That really is not a good comparison. Houston's fatal dose was self administered while Jackson's was orchestrated by a licensed doctor that was receiving $150k a month for sleep aid.

TMZ confirmed he was using aliases to obtain prescription drugs - I think there was a lot more to the story than what Hollywood believes.

2 years for involuntary manslaughter doesn't seem like that short of a prison term... especially for a non DUI. Is that less than in other most other states?

he was originally sentenced to 4 years but was released early.

two years for being a crappy enough doctor that helped caused a man's death seems a bit light to me. don't know what the penalty is in other states, however.

You can't compare the two situations.  Jackson using aliases in the past to get prescription drugs doesn't change the facts regarding what Murray did.

Murray knew he was breaking the law by getting MJ the propofol and by giving it to him.  MJ died on his watch.  Period.
