High salary all-star pitcher on a seller- Matt Cain, Felix, Hamels, Gallardo. Out of those guys Gallardo would be the only one on the block. Brewers need a 1b, pitching.

 

Probably would be Trumbo + salary for Gallardo but I'd rather trade Trumbo for a young #5 like Taillon.

No way we get Wacha for Aybar and Bourjos, especially with how well he's pitched in the past 2 months. Dude looks like he's already figured it out and could be a top 10 pitcher in the game soon.

Pirates would ask for a lot more than Trumbo for Taillon. I don't see a match.

I think we're back to signing Tanaka and the Beard (no draft picks being lost), trading HK for Zach Lee, hoping that Lindsey can skip AAA and take over at 2B, hoping that Green can make the switch to 3B, and trading Shuck for a veteran reliever.
