You don't own LA that's the thing. Ucla had 5 yrs to separate themselves from usc and they couldnt.

Winning a few games in the series is nice but in the long run ucla hasn't done much while usc faced the worst sanctions since smu.

This year. You guys have had one great year since the Toledo years. I can admit when my team is mediocre. So I guess going back to Hollyw00d, I can say "blah blah SOS is such a crutch for being mediocre"

Win your bowl game before you count your chickens. And for the hype this year, yes it is. Nothing short of P12 conf champ game or playoffs should be accepted. You guys had Brett mother-effing Hundley and you blew it

Brett Hundley is over hyped.  He is good but not great.  Never was able to complete the deep pass in his 3 years as a starter.

 

Anyway you forget that three years ago this was a team lucky to be bowl eligible.

 

The Defense had some definite issues this year.  I think a combination of a new coordinator and losing Barr, Zumwalt and Marsh.  Three NFL players.

 

This year they lose Hundley and Kendricks.  Losing Kendricks is huge, don't know how they replace him.  He is amazing and another future NFL player.

 

Rosen is a stud and hopefully can start as a true freshman.  Nueheisel is nothing special at all and Woulard doesn't seem to be very good.

 

The offense will probably be what it has been Mazzone isn't a very creative OC and I don't think he will ever have a top offense to his name.  I am fine with it though.
