Do you bring your spouse/significant other to what I'll simply refer to as your domicile?

For lack of a better word, this is your man cave but outside the house.

This could be your guys/girls night out, regular bar/pub, group function like a rec sports league or special interest group.

Is that your time or do you like to include them?

I have a 14 month old. My temple of solace is my office. So no.

I have a 3 year old and  6 year old. Any free time I get, I try to spend with my wife. If i do get out it's for a bike ride or a trip to the climbing gym. She doesn't ride, but will climb a little.

She's not allowed in the bathroom with me while I'm handling my business.

My wife has no interest in my poker/9 ball adventures. I go out maybe twice a month.She is out more often than me with her group.

hockey games and baseball games were my refuge. wife would go with me sometimes, but usually just me and my brother. she's always welcome to tag along.

I have two man caves outside the house.  One has 18 tee boxes and flag sticks.  The other is a river with a fly rod.  Either my wife and/or kids join me at about 90% of all visits to my man caves.

I am still working on getting my man cave going.  The basement is finished now I just need to figure out what I need down there.  Right now I have no space between the wife and kid.

I often go to movies alone so I guess that my refuge. She has no real interest in many movies so she'll rarely want to go.
