Strangely, for someone that likes Jack Higgins and David Baldacci, I've never read a Clancy book.

the jack ryan character and the stories he created around him were outstanding. his knack for detail was amazing and made me a big fan.

 

that being said, his black ops books just never appealed to me for some reason.

Hey B, what Baldacci books have you read?

I always mix up the name, but I think it's called Devils Corner or Hells Corner. And I'm going through Camel Club now (I think it's that one).

Camel Club set of books are great. I also really like the King and Maxwell books. You will enjoy them all, they are written like you are watching it in a movie.

Yeah, I really liked them. Not much of a reader but Hells Corner had me hooked.

Same with Len Deighton whose books are similar and kind of the og spy/agency writer that gets lost in the mix because of Ian Fleming and the Bond series.
