My mom and a co-worker drove up for the game yesterday. During warm ups my mom took a puck to the forehead and spent the whole game in the ER.  She is fine but an ambulance ride and 8 stitches later she missed the whole game .  What a crappy trip!

It just doesn't seem to hurt very much when the Ducks lose, knowing that a second place finish would guarantee a Kings playoff series.

The Ducks could have scored about 10 goals the last two games that some how didn't go in, either great saves or hitting posts.  Frustrating to lose games that way.

As much as I want the Ducks winning the Pacific Division (nice seeing another L today for San Jose) I actually want the Senators to suck big time for the last couple of weeks. Sadly, I was actually more bummed yesterday seeing the Senators win than the Ducks losing in OT.

Big game about to start. With a win we take the Pacific back. Andersen between the pipes. Bones running with the Twins again.

Andersen shuts down the Canucks. What a game by him. We reclaim the top spot int he Pacific. Still only 4 pts back of STL. 2 games in hand on SJ.

Huge win last night.  Ducks must win the Pacific so that we we get either PHX DAL or MIN in the 1st round.  I don't want any part of LAK till round 2.

San Jose will probably take the Kings out the first round. I know it would be a beater series, but I'd still rather see a Ducks/Kings match up.

 

Oh, and isn't Dallas (probable Pacific division leader opponent) the only team we have a losing record against who is a possible playoff opponent?
