Well, Etem isn't giving up.

So one thing I noticed last night. There were more Bolts fans in the arena than there are Rays fans at the Trop. Apparently Tampa is a hockey town. Who knew?

Gotta weather it.  That is why the fast start is so important, so they can absorb some of these issues.

 

Etem's goal was a thing of beauty.  Etem always seems to play the best when he is paired with Selanne, anyone else notice that?  I love Perreault.  Guy just flies around the rink and harasses the opposing team on the forecheck.

Is Bonino hurt or sick (I caught parts of the game on the radio) or was that Bruce pulling a Scioscia and tanking his teams chances so he could show confidence in one of his team leaders.

Trade!

 

Ducks trade Holland and Staubitz to Toronto for defenseman Jesse Blacker and 2 draft picks.

I like the trade. I liked Holland when he was drafted but was never impressed when I actually watched him play. I don't know about Blacker, but I am glad they could get a 2nd round pick in the trade.

Blacker is 22. A big time score in his OHL days. 6'1" 190. Not a HUGE guy, but apparently he has some wheels.
