the defense still scares me - to be a real cup challenger we need to shore it up.

Koivu skated with the team again but sounds like he will be held out.

 

Phoenix has played very well so far.  Should be a good match up.

Awesome for Lindholm to get his first career goal at home with his Dad watching.

No one has goaltending issues right now. Trading Hiller won't be easy until a goalie goes down for a Cup contending team later this year.

 

Also, I'm not ready to anoint Andersen after just 4 or 5 games. This team is playing well and does not have a glaring need for stronger goaltending at the moment.

Andersen in goal tonight.

 

Fasth took place in some drills in practice.  He will practice fully tomorrow according to BB.

 

Cogliano was ok and on the ice practicing.  Dodged a bullet there... no more injuries to forwards!

 

Didn't see anything about Koivu.

 

Ducks first stop on their next road trip -- Florida just fired their head coach and their assistant coach.

 

Buffalo is coming off of a 2-0 loss to the Kings last night.
