Big win. Played like crap 2 periods and then turned it on in the 3rd. Andersen with another masterful performance. Love this guy!

Man I was just looking at stats.

 

For one thing, we are still in it for the Presidents Trophy, two points behind Boston.  StL has a game in hand and one point ahead of us.

 

Ducks are #1 in goals per game at 3.2.  Even more importantly and impressive with the injuries is they are 8th in GAA.  What a transformation under BB.  He has done a remarkable job.

 

Both Getzlaf and Cogliano have career highs in goals.  Cogliano by the way is definitely the most underrated Duck.  Dude never misses a shift, plays on the shutdown line, he is fast, physical and has 21 goals.

 

Also sounds like Fowler could be back within a week.

You could make an argument for Cogs being the Ducks best player this year.  He has been so crucial for the Ducks in so many different aspects of the game.  So happy he signed the extension midseason.  I'll be getting a new jesery soon to replace my Bobby jersey and it's either gonna be Cogs or Lindholm.

That is funny, I'm in the same situation.  I have a Ryan jersey and wanted to replace it with either a cogs or lindholm.  I was leaning more towards Cogs since I wore #7 when I played.

The first and fourth goals were pretty cheap, Hiller needs to stop those.

I doubt they can come back in this one. Rinne is too good to allow 5 goals, plus he seems to step up against the Ducks. I hope I'm wrong.

 

Oh and Andersen should be the goalie in the playoffs

Hiller was ok in the 3rd. But, he looked like he was lost that first period. I had seats near his goal. His movements were slow and the look on his face was like he was having problems concentrating.
