Pissed me off to no end last night. Pittsburgh had no business getting a point in that game, much less 2. The Ducks worked them from start to finish. Faster and more physical. ****ing Hiller giving up that soft 5 hole goal and then the refs screwing us on a few calls including that early whistle that cost us a goal. Frustrating but most likely a preview of the Cup Finals. The fans were into it big time, although A LOT of Pens fans flooded in. It wasn't pretty.

Hopefully the Ducks fans give him a big ovation.  He had a great run with the Ducks.  He kind of went the way of Scioscia and didn't adapt to his roster.

 

Too bad the Angels ownership didn't ax Scioscia like the Ducks ownership did with Carlyle.

Well the Sharks have officially caught up to us. We have a game in hand but still. A once 15 point lead has dwindled to nothing.

Goes back to what I was saying earlier...it made no sense to trade Penner, and not acquire an offensive player via trade.

In the last 11 games the Ducks have gone 2-for-36 on the powerplay.

We all know that's not going to cut it in the playoffs...I was okay with not getting any of the big name rentals, but it would have been nice if they went after a power play specialist like David Legwand.

In my opinion a must win tonight.

This makes me want to get a Cogliano jersey.
