Sbisa sent to AHL on rehab stint.  Must be activated after three games.  Hopefully he is a healthy scratch every day til he can be traded.

I don't have a problem with it. This isn't college football where these things matter. The Ducks will get to prove who the best team is on the ice.

 

I also think they made some compelling arguments as to why the Hawks and Blues are ranked higher. Blues are actually right behind the Ducks pace but have played 3 fewer games. The Ducks aren't as good of a puck possession team as the other two teams and that has proven to be important come playoff time. The Blues have a better goal differential than the Ducks too. I look at possession in a similar way to run differential in baseball, it usually aligns with record over time.

 

I think this year's team is better than last year's team because of improved defense and secondary scoring (as the article pointed out) but still not the type of team that I'm going to get upset if they are only ranked 3rd.

Great game tonight. Brian Elliot played out of his mind. We probably should of had 6 goals or so. Glad we got back in the normal Ducks groove.
