Perfect top down weather the last couple days. You are right, Homebrewer, rain is wasted in the southland so here is to a sunny warm winter here and you freezing you nipples off in waist deep snow.

you forgot to say thanks to homebrewer.

and for the love of mike, i hope you have a convertible and are not some kind of hippie nudist looking for an excuse.

<<<<Heat is the worst. Cold is easy to deal with, you just wear thicker clothes.>>>

Exactly.

Southern Californians, unless they live in the desert, don't really get what near 100 deg heat, for months on end, can be like. You Midwesterners have the high humidity and storms to deal with in the hot months, too.

Winter is easy, compared to HOT summers.

Also..

Winter means 2 closet-cleaning overhauls every year (fall and spring)...which has been a good change for me. I don't keep stuff I never wear, like I did where the weather never changed much.

What is the point of being a nudist in a hardtop sedan?

Snowpack in the Sierra is already 50% of normal.

Expectations run anywhere from 150% to 200% or more before the snowfall season is over.

It will go a long way towards refilling the dry lakes and reservoirs.

Why you want extra rain in So-cal is beyond me...it just runs into the ocean and makes driving miserable.

Your water comes from my backyard, not yours.

The first part is encouraging. Just getting tired of day after day after day of dryness for into a 5th year now.

The question is, if the Sierras reach that point of 150-200% of normal snowpack, will the SoCal cities relax the strict water restrictions?

We have gotten two inches in the last 36 hours and are supposed to get another inch by noon today.  Flood warnings all over the place.  My yard is soaked and muddy which is always great when you have dogs.

Yeah we set the record for 12/13 at 59 degrees.  It was also the warmest December game in Green Bay Packers history.
