A rare mid-year El Nino "event" is apparently strengthening and might lead to a wetter than normal summer and a lot of rain next year.

They were telling us about a "huge warmup" this week, but the forecast was downgraded to the mid-70's, and low 80's next weekend.

Haven't seen 80 since. We're expected to on Sunday, and then 90 on Tuesday.

 

Had a shit ton of rain though. Every day but 3 in May, DIA has had measurable precipitation.
