i don't know much about big bear, but arrowhead is pretty nice, people are fairly normal... crestline etc are pretty iffy though. maybe a little too close to san bernardino.

Seriously..since this is the WEATHER thread...October is the best month up here. The weather is just fuckin perfect....and this is no shit...A buddy of mine and I took our lunches and drove down to the Merced River today, and watched 3 river otters playing. I had not seen river otters in the wild since I lived in Humboldt County back in the 70's. I followed them up river for a while and got some poor video..too large of a file to post here but if anyone really wants to see it PM me with an email addy and I'll send it.
