It is stupid that SoCal drivers drive in the rain like it's the Indy 500.

Meanwhile, this ain't no El Niño. El Nino's don't have 2 week breaks between rains.

This is so wrong it's not even funny. January is actually known as a drier month for the two biggest El Ninos.

As for February's accuweather prediction for SoCal in February through February 28, it's only predicted to receive some 3.5 inches of rain.

That would make only around 8 inches in SoCal between November-February, with just March to go in the rainy season.

That is about 40% of what 1982-1983 and 1997-1998 seasons brought in a similar period.

It's official, the drought is still in force in SoCal!!!!

And the lakes and reservoirs in SoCal continue to get less deep, thank goodness for the 12-18 inches of snow that fell in the mountains a week and a half ago.

Too bad that will only be like a drop in the ocean, as long as the precipitation stays well under El Nino norms.

This looks more like a normal pattern (rain in upper 2/3 of state, and not much in bottom 1/3 of state).

It sure as heck ain't El Nino, more like El Wimpo.
