WTF is with this bleeping weather?

Recommended Posts

99 in glendale with 28% humidity.

the air con in my room becomes terribly inefficient when the outside temp is above 93 or so, so my room is really humid and smelly after having 56 sweaty, hormonal 7th graders every afternoon.

when boys don't wear deodorant, holy mackeral, it's just awful.

93 with 70% humidity in Irvine

Our office in Irvine has 360 degree views and looking east it's dark and looks like the end of days while the west is quite a bit brighter.  Just now you can see the winds picking up and it's starting to rain a bit.

Edit - poured for a while and it's still raining.  Thankfully I have a short commute.

from National Weather Service, at 4:41 PM:

Another area of thunderstorms over Orange County was tracking northwestward towards Long Beach and Lakewood across coastal Los Angeles County. Any storms that develop today will be capable of producing brief heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. Also...lightning strikes on the periphery of storms can cause fire starts.

Nowcast | as of 5:23 PM PDT on September 9, 2015

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to impact Los Angeles County through early evening...capable of proudcing brief heavy downpours...gusty winds...and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. At 515 PM...showers are expanding across coastal portions of Los Angeles County. One area was focused near Long Beach...including Belmont Shore. Another area of showers was developing over western portions of the la coast near Hawthorne and Inglewood along interstates 105 and 405.

Some really dark clouds outside but so far no rain. 95 degrees though and very humid.
