WTF is with this bleeping weather?

Recommended Posts

And the rain gets pushed back to Monday, now only 1.25 inches forecast throughout December (none after December 3).

That would be = very small baby steps.    H_ll, it's still the Great Drought, with NO END IN SIGHT!

SoCal is doomed.

Remember, you live in a semi-desert.

A semi-desert that still averages close to 15 inches of rain a year.

For the past two years? Total of 8 inches

For the past three years? Total of 16 inches

So far since July 1? Quarter of an inch

Not to mention temps 2 degrees above normal since July 1, with THREE heat generating Santa Ana's already in November!

And now, only half an inch of rain forecast through Jan 9!

That's what's funny though, tank.    That forecast has changed like a gazillion times the past couple of weeks.

It's like the forecasters want to drought to end by predicting rain, only to not see any materialize.

Now, accuweather (maybe the most accurate?) is saying only about .50 inch of rain on Monday into Tuesday, and then NOTHING before Jan 10.

Seems like a wimpy El Nino to me.

You know that the majority of rainfall in an el niño year is Jan-May, right?
