Last big El Niño was 97-98? Funny, but something caused 30 inches of rain to fall in winter 2004-2005 and also some 5 years later.

And of course, the very second the rains of 8-10 days ago left, it's been mostly in the 80s.

which is odd because we had a very, very cold december this winter.

Weather here has been fun.  We had about 8 inches of snow on Friday and by yesterday it was all gone and 70 degrees.  Best time of year in the Rockies.  My daughter was playing outside in shorts.

55 degrees here right now!  Feels like summer.

 

Snow is starting to melt but it is still about 18 inches deep.  Supposed to be back in the 20s in a couple days.

 

They just announced that Lake Michigan was 93.3% ice covered which is a record.  It really has been an insanely cold winter.

Same here. I use a mixture of vinegar, water, and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Mix and spray on weeds. After a few days, weeds are eradicated. Easy peasy japanesey.
