I watched this as a kid (11 years old) and it gave me nightmares.  Would like to see an updated, theater version of it.

Last I heard, they were on Part 56 of "Double Team".

 

I wouldn't mind seeing an original movie come out of Hollywood rather than yet another remake.

 

The problem with remakes is that they usually start with a movie that was already successful in it's own right and then fail from there.

 

But, if I was "gun to my head" forced to call for a remake, I guess it would probably be.interesting to see something like how Back to the Future might have a take on a kid from 2015 reacting to 1985.

Carpenter's The Thing and Cronenberg's The Fly are better than the originals.

And yeah...Dark Night of the Scarecrow is awesome. Picked it up on blu ray about a year ago

I would love to see a remake of Jaws with modern day CGI.  Also, I'd like the script to match the Jaws book instead of the original movie script.  Way better story!
