The Lost Victorian Mansions of Downtown LA

i think the first one was really expensive and long to make, i think they were one of the first to use facial recognition software......which was to make all the quirks for interviewing people. it sounded like it simply took a long time and a lot of man power to create, plus many people think rockstar, but they simply published the game. if i remember correctly, i think the studio that made the game closed shop.

gameplay was a bit tedious as simply interviewing people got boring, but the story was one of the best (as most noire stories are), they nailed the atmosphere and era, the sheer size of la and everything you could do or explore was cool, and i'm with alb, the soundtrack is something i still throw on every now and then....it was just so solid. definitely a one of a kind experience.

i always hoped someone would pick up the ball on this one or create something similar to this.

ps. you guys got me to start googling info and i came across this: https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=os0DUDAX8EAC&source=productsearch&utm_source=HA_Desktop_US&utm_medium=SEM&utm_campaign=PLA&pcampaignid=MKTAD0930BO1&gl=US&gclid=CKnuxIGbms4CFUddMgodF0YCuQ&gclsrc=ds

i still have la noir around here somewhere, unopened.

was super stoked to play that game.

if i go get the next xbox can i play it on that? they are dirt cheap now with the slim one coming out.

granted ill probably just end up with an unopened xbox one years from now.

i wish i got the same excitement for video games now that i did when i was a kid. zelda, mortal kombat and street fighter 2 all day every day.

I think there were two peaks in my video gaming life.  Street Fighter 2 and Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

I think they came out about five years apart.
